Common name: Lucas' Short-nosed Fruit Bat

Ecology and habitat: Roost mainly in rock shelters or caves, sometimes in near total darkness. Eats fruit which it carries back to the cave to eat. Roost can sometimes be recognised by sprouting seeds.

Geographic range: Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam and Indonesia

Population trend: Decreasing
